Networking Technologies
Copper (Cat5e/6a) cabling supports features such as Power over Ethernet (PoE) and speeds up to 10Gbit (cat6a). Distances up to 100M. Cat5e is the current standard for 1Gbit Ethernet however we encourage cat6a in all new installations.
Multi-mode Fibre (OM3/4) reliable connectivity with longer distance and no electromagnetic interference issues . Speeds from 1Gbit (860M), 10Gbit (400M) to 100Gbit (100M). Fibre also allows trunking and splitting in ways that copper does not and can dramatically reduce cabling between high-usage areas.
Single-mode Fibre Optic (OS2) is the standard for high-speed applications and offer performance up to 400Gbit with a variety of optics available. To be future-proof we recommend single-mode fibre when possible. With distance limitations of 10-20km and more.
In addition to debugging and tuning Wifi networks we offer OMADA lightweight access point solutions. A managed LWapp solution offers significant advantages over unmanaged WiFi, even in residential installations:
Network Organization
Structured Cabling systems provide the base infrastructure to organize and optimize your network's performance and manageability. This includes working with your architects to ensure that the design is sound and ensuring your racks, equipment is suitable for your needs and that your server room design will be suitable for years to come.
Server / Wiring Closet Organization we understand that you build your current setup on the fly and while you were rapidly expanding, we have all been there and cut corners to get the job done. However it is beginning to get unmanageable and when there are issues it is getting harder to solve them. We can help get things organized and labeled, replace marginal infrastructure and clean things up.
